The Ottawa Cancer Foundation
The Ottawa Cancer Foundation ensures that people living with cancer in our community have access to the support they need, when they need it. Together with partners, supporters, staff, and volunteers, they provide compassionate, community‑based care so no one has to face cancer alone.
They offer free, evidence‑based programs and services for people living with cancer, their caregivers, and their families. Their support covers emotional, physical, psychological, social, and practical needs. This includes mental health support, peer groups, fitness and movement programs, caregiver support, symptom management resources, nutrition counselling, and more. All services are offered at no cost and no referral is required.
Through our Cancer System Navigation program and our Community Cancer Hubs, they work with more than 70 community partners, hospitals, and service providers to make support accessible and responsive across Ottawa. This integrated network helps people build resilience, find connection, and navigate the challenges of cancer with confidence.
With the right resources and community behind them, no one in Ottawa needs to face cancer alone.
